Since 1976 Family Ministries of Florida has provided a safe family environment for children
who for one reason or another cannot live with their parents. Christian couples serve as
Houseparents. The Houseparents provide nurturing and structure for the boys and girls that live
in their homes. The family has a daily devotion time together, and each child is encouraged to
have their own personal devotion time. Along with individual and group devotions the families
are very involved with our local church. The children are also involved with many different
activities at the church including Sunday school, youth group, drama team, youth choir, and
Bible Bowl. Family Ministries of Florida uses three different education paths. First, Legacy
Christian Academy is located on the campus of Family Ministries of Florida. Legacy Christian
Academy offers a unique individually paced program designed around the needs and educational
level of the child. Second, a private Christian school for those children that need more of a
traditional learning environment. Third, the local public elementary school for those children
in grades kindergarten through 5th grade. Family Ministries recognizes that every child learns
differently and has different educational needs, and it is the goal of Family Ministries to provide
the best educational opportunity for each child.

Bob and Celeste Gailey
The Christian Campus Ministry had its founding in January 1977, at the University of Florida.
It was through the efforts of Bob and Pat Wade that a house was found and efforts began to
make a “home” away from home for the students attending the university. Daily the HOUSE
is used for study, to have friends in, to talk and receive counsel, for meals, and in other ways to
provide a Christian atmosphere at the college setting. CAMPUS HOUSE draws from the local
congregations and Bible Colleges to help furnish both the physical and spiritual needs.

Judah attended the University of Mandalay and then graduated from the Bible Institute. Judah
then attended Florida Christian College from 1995-1997. He connected with NMSI while living
in Florida and attending school. He returned to his country in 1997 and married his betrothed,
Khaw, and then taught at the Bible Institute in Myanmar. Judah and Khaw have five children,
three of whom are adopted. Judah has been teaching at The Eastern Bible Institute since 1998.
In 2000, Judah started the Wireless Church of Christ which continues to meet in his home today.
In 2002, Judah was led by God to open an orphanage, starting with six orphans. Today Judah
loves, educates, houses and supports several orphans in a one room hut that is a 20-minute walk
from his modest home. The Sunday School classes for his church meet at the orphanage, Judah’s
home and in six other homes spread out over several villages. They also have weekly Bible
study classes that meet in various peoples’ homes on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
nights. Judah and Khaw teach all of these, and the Bible students help on Saturdays nights.
